The year of " Joining the walk with You"

Surely 2009 came and went by as fast as I could finish a pack of Nasi Lemak. That's about 15minutes in reality. Reflecting back on 2009, I thank God for everything that has happened in my life. For the smallest thing to the biggest thing. With out writing down what I have achieve for 2009, I have to slowly recall on what 2009 means to me. It sure wasn't about the food, the enviroment but more of the people that I have met through this year. I was glad to have got together with GF C, met up with Ashley again, baby A and Jo for this year. Not forgetting attending two weddings, friends from my Uni days.

These are just some of the highlights for 2009. As I look forward to 2010, I want to join the walk with you, Yes! With you. No more holding back! No more looking down, looking out is the way to go.

I have kept the list of things I want to do short for 2010.
1. Go to France this year!
2. Be able to find time for everything that is important in my life.
3. Serve more in church.
4. Catch more squids!

Tide and time waits for no man. I only pray to God that this year, I will join the walk with HIM closely.

Am I getting better?

This is the fourth cuttlefish I caught this month, this has to be one of the biggest cuttlefish I have caught so far. As I caught 2 really small cuttlefish the other day, I came up with this crazy idea of having a reef tank in my house and keep them for further "studies". I have always wanted to be a Marine Biologist and I thought this was a good way for me to be one now. I went on to read up on cuttle fish.

Do you know this about the Cuttlefish?
- has an internal shell (the cuttlebone)
- has large W-shaped pupils
- has blood of a cuttlefish is an unusual shade of green-blue
- Average lifespan in the wild: 1-2 years

This few interesting facts would have make me start a small project of keeping some of them. But there is still a part of me that knows that keeping one alive in a tank would have meant that I have to sacrifice many more that would have come before it.

I started to ponder about it, it would be better if I stop thinking about this and confuse on my next hunt for my squid, cuttlefish and octopus. My adventure continues!

I only want to be a Servant of God

This picture sums it all up, this is how I feel about work now, it's one of these, take this, moment. Days have been going by oh so slowly, I have been working for no more than 2 years and I'm feeling this way. I want a new environment, new colleagues and most importantly, a work that I can have enough time for God, Family, GF C and Friends.

Take me to and may I find rest in you, God.

The year of " Don't stop me now"

Last year Theme was "Year of Action" , continues with "Don't stop me now" for this year. Don't stop me now for all the effort that have been put in the year of action.
I drafted this in Jan, and I will be posting it now. Things have been great so far for the past half a year. I attached now with GirlFriend C after knowing her for a year. I have been spending more time with her now that my mum is away at France looking after Baby A. I have also pick up a new hobby, I am into eging now, it's the term used for catching squid with a fishing rod. Work has been a little more messy than I want it to be but God has always been providing me with encourage.

I was @ Bintan the other day and had a great massage. A full body scrub and a whole body massage. I miss having holidays but I also know I don't have much leave to take. At the moment I'm looking forward to a few things
- Singapore International Water Week
- Mum's homecoming
- Baby A coming
- Changing of Job
- Iggy's wedding
- Jo's arrival

A lot of the plans are confirm but there are still some on the pending list. Will wait and see if everything will go smoothly.

A time of giving, sharing, loving and heaps more...

Family, work, friends, church, friends from overseas! I not really sure if this year was a year of action, I didn't see myself as Jackie Chan or even Jet Li. I guess my way of action was to touch people's life. In a big or small way. I have always struggle to find time or balance everything but the things I do in my life, be it for others, I have always find joy in doing them. I guess as I get older each year, I get to know a little of myself better and because of that, I am able to be comfortable about myself and let my friends/family members know more about me. I guess I did not place too much goals this year for myself to achieve. I know it was going to be easy in 2008, getting everything/part of my life right. Like in church, home and work.

But it is truly God's grace that everything was place in my life this way for 2008. Like how I got the chance to visit Hong Kong, landing a new job (I'm sure it's a good thing at the end of the day), finding my place in church and getting baptism @ Christmas day. Everything seem to have come and gone. It's almost 2009 now.

I hope you had a whale of a good time in 2008. Just like I did in this pic. It's good bye 2008 and embrace 2009 when it reaches.
